Large bus restrictions will be in effect for Conzelman Road late spring, 2010. There will not be a turnaround at Battery Spencer. Buses can travel onto Conzelman Road, turn onto McCullough Road, and then travel out through the Baker-Barry tunnel. Please be advised that the road surface on McCullough Road will be gravel. In 2011, there will be no access to Conzelman Road or McCullough Road. Bridge access parking at northwest end of Golden Gate Bridge will have limited access during 2010. East Road will be subject to flagged, alternating one way traffic and will have uneven surfaces. Check this site for current updates.
Bike rental operators
Access to existing roads in Marin Headlands will be severely limited beginning late spring, 2010. Access on Conzelman Road will be limited to Battery Spencer. McCullough Road will be open to alternating, flagged one way traffic beginning late spring, 2010. Beginning May 1, 2010, East Road will have a gravel surface. Bikers will encounter hazardous, uneven surfaces and should be informed prior to departure from rental sites. Check this site for current updates.
Hiking & mountain biking tours
Foot and bike access to Conzelman Road will be limited beginning spring, 2010. Access is restricted after Battery Spencer. Access to Marin Headlands locations and trails is available through Baker Barry Tunnel. Check this site for current updates.
